Grounded Learning System Driver #2
Key driver #2 is WHOLE CHILD. After we have addressed those concerns around fragmentation and incongruence in our delivery of services, and actually the reason we ensure those things happen is so that we can be in a position to best serve the student. This involves professional development, paradigm shift in instructional delivery if need be, and a harsh realization and embrace of the idea that serving the students means at some level understanding all those things that concern them.
